Developed for patients with more severe, chronic and persistent dry eye symptoms and those who suffer from prolonged discomfort due to inflammatory symptoms e.g., itching and burning. HYLO DUAL INTENSE™ contains Ectoine, an osmoprotective substance, which helps stabilize biological membranes.

The combination of Sodium Hyaluronate and Ectoine in HYLO DUAL INTENSE™, offers intensive relief from dry eye and inflammatory symptoms. 

Intensive lubrication and protection of chronically dry eyes 

HYLO DUAL INTENSE™ contains Ectoine, which has a strong water-binding capacity. The water surrounding Ectoine is bound very compact and forms a physiologic barrier.

This “shield” of Ectoine and water protects cell membranes against inflammatory responses to environmental stress (such as dehydration, e.g. by hyperosmolar tears, UV radiation or airborne allergens).

Long-lasting relief for fewer daily applications 

HYLO DUAL INTENSE™ contains a highly viscous formulation of high-quality Sodium Hyaluronate and Ectoine, which provides the ocular surface with intensive, soothing, and long-lasting moisturization.

The higher the viscosity, the longer it stays on the ocular surface - This means long-lasting relief, fewer daily applications needed and lower total cost of treatment

Helps reduce the excessive evaporation of your tears 

HYLO DUAL INTENSE™ eye drops contain Ectoine, which has a stabilizing effect on the lipid phase of the tear film. It increases its elasticity, causes it to spread evenly over the eye surface, and protects against the excessive evaporation of tears.
